Woodbury Middle School Vocal Music

Our mission as members of the Woodbury MS Choirs is to develop a musical community, where we can attain harmony, balance, and blend with each piece of music by first establishing positive, trusting relationships with each other. We believe that by creating this safe atmosphere will build and strengthen our performances by encouraging risk, growth, persistence, and a focus on and commitment to excellence. We also believe that through our experience, we will stand as advocates for music education in our schools and provide light to all students in and out of our program.

The Woodbury Middle School Vocal Music Department is about more than just taking part in a choir or a choir class. It is strictly focused on the unique experience of vocal music. Our choirs spend each day practicing proper breathing technique, music theory skills, sight-reading, and rehearsing high-quality repertoire in the most proper and efficient manner. Our goal is to rebuild the legacy of the Woodbury MS Choir program and showcase the importance of having music education accessible to all students. This year, we have a brand new campus and a brand new choir room, which will provide us with a fresh start to an unforgettable experience for all our students!
